Balloon Sponsorship Opportunities

Dear Balloon Banner Sponsor:

Learn about the rich and colorful tradition of the York County Parks Balloon Festival’s first four years, how the County Parks have benefited from the funds raised, and see photos from the 2007 event by clicking on the links at the left.

You are invited to participate in the 2008 York County Parks Balloon Festival to be held in June by becoming a balloon banner sponsor. Two types of balloon banner sponsorships are available:

1. The envelope banner provides a unique opportunity for you to fly a 30’ X 18’ advertising banner on one of the 30 giant hot air balloons.

2. The basket banner provides a unique up close opportunity for you to fly a 4’ X 3’ advertising banner on one of the 30 giant hot air balloons.

The York County Parks Hot Air Balloon Festival is quickly becoming the largest family-oriented event in York County. The event drew over 20,000 people to John Rudy County Park last year, and we hope to have an even bigger crowd this year, when York County Parks celebrates its 40th anniversary.

We still have corporate sponsorship opportunities available for the 2008 event. The most popular are the envelope banner and basket banner sponsorships. With banner advertising, your banner will be displayed on one of our 30 hot air balloons. Your logo/artwork will be visible to a large number of local and regional attendees. In addition, the York County Parks Balloon Festival will publicize the event in various media including select tagging with WARM 103 Radio. Press releases announcing the Balloon Festival will be distributed to local print, TV and radio media outlets in the York/Harrisburg/Lancaster area. The event brochure is being distributed by York County Parks, WARM 103 Radio, and Windjammer Balloons to members of the media.
